On Monday, April 1, 2013, at around 9 A.M., a piece of concrete used for manhole covers struck a construction worker in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The construction worker was working on a street widening project when he was hit by the piece of concrete. As a result of being struck by the concrete, the man was temporarily stuck in a sewer ditch. Fortunately, officials from the South Shore Fire Department were able to remove the man quickly. The construction worker was taken to a local hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.
