The State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation (“DOT”) maintains a traveler information system, where people can access information regarding Wisconsin roads on the internet at, via Twitter at, or by dialing 511 on their phone. The system provides information on travel times, travel alerts and road conditions. The DOT is currently working to upgrade the traveler information system, and is seeking public input on improving the system. To make a suggestion regarding the traveler information system, visit the system website at Suggestions are due by Friday, June 7, 2013.
