New Technology for Preventing Distracted Driving

Posted on

Microsoft is updating its Windows Phone 8 software to include a new “Driving Mode,” which will automatically silence incoming calls and text messages. The technology will activate automatically when the phone is wirelessly connected to a Bluetooth device in the vehicle. Drivers can also set the phone to automatically send a reply to an incoming call or text to let the sender know that the receiver is driving.

The Wisconsin personal injury attorneys of Samster, Konkel & Safran congratulate Microsoft for developing this technology to prevent distracted driving. We are also committed to end distracted driving, such as texting while driving. Join us in our campaign to end texting while driving and distracted driving.
