Dodge County Sees Four Vehicle Accidents in 24 Hours

Posted on

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Department has had a busy couple of days, responding to four different vehicle accidents between May 19 and May 20, 2014. At 5:20 P.M. on May 19, a man driving a truck struck a pedestrian as he was pulling into a driveway on Resthaven Road in the Town of Ashippun. About ten minutes later, another crash occurred on State Highway 73 in the Town of Calamus when a driver rolled her vehicle into a ditch. Just after midnight on May 20, an accident happened on State Highway 175 in the Town of Theresa when a driver failed to negotiate a curve, going into a ditch and striking a power pole. Then around 8:00 A.M. on May 20, another driver failed to negotiate a curve and rolled her vehicle into a ditch on Town Road MM in the Town of Ashippun. Fortunately, all of the vehicle occupants involved in the accidents were wearing seat belts, so there were no fatalities.
